Culturally yours

Dances, art forms and cultural performances take a front seat in North Kerala. Patrons, artistes and performers abound the stages here. The grand Theyyam festival, the Perumkaliyattom, is one of them.

Providing a slice of art and history, this will be held from Feb 3-6, 2009. The venue is the Sree Muchilotu Kavu shrine in Korom village. The dance performances and rituals depict scenes from history and literature.
