Our desi ‘Bat’man
Mosquitoes have always been a menace. But recently, they have been so ferociously attacking the citizens, that we need to seek the help of the ‘Mosquito Bat’. It is a tennis racquet-like bat whose guts form an electric circuit. And when a mosquito or a fly hits it, a short circuit is produced, thereby killing it.
It is an apt play thing for those who love to kill (in this case, a winged one!). Most people in cities like Chennai, Cochin and Coimbatore, where the Mosquito population is high, have even mastered the art of using the bat!
It has certainly become a past time for kids and elders alike, proving to be a stress-buster, too-imagine all that exercise you get out of running behind these animals….
Tourists who visit cities and towns should be asked to buy one. Surely, it will be a useful investment.
