Sikkim, A Bio-diverse State

Sikkim is known for its forests, lakes and wildlife, with a lot of endemic species. According to a report by the WWF, in the past 10 years, 19 new species of flora and fauna has been found in the state. The Himalayan hills contain a lot of animals, plants and fish. The area is replete with orchids. Orchids from here are even exported.
