Celebrating Navy Day in Kochi
Navy Day falls on December 4. But the celebrations have already begun!
It is commemorated every year to remember the role the Indian Navy played in the 1971 war. The Cochin Naval Command has thrown open its gates to the public. You can visit warships, check out exhibits, weapons and naval equipment. There are stalls, biryani outlets, amusements for kids and travel agency counters.
Two attractions to watch out for are the Naval performance at Durbal Hall on December 5 and the grand Navy Ball on December 12.
