Who To Travel With?

There are a lot of things to take care of before you plunge into a trip – itinerary, finance, holidays, camps, food, language and more. One of the most important factors is the person(s) you would be travelling with. Let’s look at some elements that will help you decide who to travel with:

–> Ideally, choose some one who is close to you – friend, husband, or other family – so that your trip and stay is comfortable

–> Make sure your travelling partner is as enthusiastic about the trip as you are. Otherwise, they might end up making it troublesome

–> Answer questions like: Is he/she interested in the trip? What do we have in common? Have we done trips together before?

–> Sit with your partner and jot down plans of the trip. Both of you should be clear about accommodation, sharing finances, deciding what places to visit, etc.

–> It is important to find out some background information about your partner before you start. Probably, you can meet his family before the trip

–> Identify any negative characteristics in him beforehand. It will help to eliminate any enmity between yourselves during the trip

–> Find out from friends and common acquaintances about the partner’s behaviour and character

–> If you guys have something unresolved, patch up before the trip

–> Learn to adjust. Not everyone will have the same agenda on a trip. Enjoy!
